And delivers meaningful images you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

A PHOTO EXPERIENCE THAT SHOWERS YOU WITH LOVE

You are coming up on a big milestone! There are more beautiful moments ahead for you than you can possibly imagine. And a million and one details that fall on your shoulders to plan.

Not to worry, sweet friend. Making sure your real-life love story is documented and that the most important moments of your life go off without a hitch is on me.

Hi there! In case we haven’t met, I’m Shea.

I’m a Mississippi-based marriage and motherhood photographer who puts her heart and soul into giving you a once-in-a-lifetime experience while we document your once-in-a-lifetime love.

Your wedding and family portraits should be meaningful to you.

I believe more than anything…

Take away the outfits, the hair, the makeup, the decorations—and underneath it all is a love story that needs to be told. Your love story! It shines through in all the little details that only someone who genuinely cares about you would understand and know to look for.

Details like the hydrangeas from your grandmother’s garden in your bouquet. How your husband cradles your newborn’s tiny toes so gently in his hands. Or the sweet kiss on the cheek you get from your daddy before heading down the aisle.

I want you to be able to feel and remember those small, unspoken details of your love whenever you see your photos.

here's how we can work together

What happens when you take a customer service and PR professional and give her a camera?

Plus the planning, coordinating, organizing, trustworthy best friend you need by your side on the most important days of your life.

You get photos more gorgeous than your favorite Pinterest board...

Like most good things, my photography business was born out of hard work, determination, and quite a few on-my-knees conversations with God.

I was working for the University of Southern Mississippi (Go Eagles!!) and finishing my doctorate in higher education administration. I had every intention to continue my career in this field. Then, unexpectedly, plans changed!

By chance, I was put in charge of photographing a few of my colleagues for our department’s website. Long story short: I fell completely in love with everything about that experience.

I knew I wanted to spend more time with a camera in hand! So, during my breaks, nights, and weekends, I started shooting families and couples (totally for free at first!) and taking every photography course I could get my hands on.

Before I knew it, this little “side hobby” was taking off, and I was balancing a growing business, a full-time job, and school at the same time.

It was a juggling act, to say the least. And if I’m spillin’ the tea, quite frankly, I was exhausted. But I didn’t want to give up my photography business. I loved what I was doing. So I prayed. A LOT.

Four years later, and God has provided so much for me since putting my doctorate on hold to see where this business takes me.

but you need so much more than someone who can take a picture!

You need a trusted professional who can recommend the right vendors, help choose the perfect flowers, find the most flattering and natural angles for everyone, and get all the shots that show your family just being themselves.

You need a friend who will have your back no matter what. Someone who would give you their vacation rental if your honeymoon plans should happen to fall through. (Yes! I actually did this for one of my couples!).

I am here to put you first and provide the most magical day you can imagine with your loved ones. I can’t wait to meet you!

Friend, you might think you need to hire a photographer,

A few of my favorite things

My sweet husband and high school sweetheart, Corey. He’s my biggest cheerleader and constant support system, and I can’t imagine doing life without him by my side.

A glass of good wine. Pinot Grigio anyone?

Monogramming anything I can nail down and my lifetime subscription to Southern Living Magazine.

Our 7 fur babies! Six of which are rescues. Yep, our house is a zoo. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Christmas music. I listen to it year-round.

If George Strait sang it, it has my whole heart.

Treating my clients like I’d treat a friend. Making sure you feel so special and cared for during your photos is my number one priority.

The University of Southern Mississippi. I’m pretty confident I bleed black and gold!

Kind words from clients who feel more like friends

"From the very beginning with planning engagement photos, Shea was so organized and helpful to us in navigating the wedding planning process. I always knew I could text her for questions or even to ask her opinion for whatever I needed! She really sought to get to know us and learn about us and our story and what our wedding vision was. When our wedding day came, she was very organized and kept the day flowing smoothly and on schedule without feeling rushed at all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

Tyler + Rusty

“Shea has photographed my little family on multiple occasions and has exceeded my expectations each time! Her energy, kindness, and professionalism make her the best photographer and friend. She has captured priceless moments of my family that I will cherish forever!”

Melissa Clark

“I cannot even begin to describe how much Shea and her team meant to me on our wedding day. From day one, Shea was detailed, patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. She executed my vision for the big day perfectly. She stayed in touch throughout the planning and helped more than she will ever know! I am obsessed with every single picture she took. They are detailed, thoughtful, unique, and airy. They are the perfect reminder of how precious our day was.“

Cadie + Brian

"Our experience with Shea was more than Trent and I could ever have dreamed of and more. Our session with her was the epitome of elegance! She was completely professional and knew exactly what Trent and I wanted concerning photographs of our Hazel Ann. Trent and I were so comfortable during the entire session because Shea put us at ease and made the entire photoshoot magical for all three of us. If you have any doubts about taking newborn photographs, don't hesitate to call Shea, as she makes it a beautiful experience and one that you will treasure forever."
